About

I’m a biologist working at the interface between wildlife behaviour, ecology, conservation, and epidemiology. I live in Cornwall but I’ve worked in Africa and North America too. I’m an academic but almost all of my research has practical applications. Although I’ve worked on many wildlife species, African wild dogs and European badgers have become my main focus. Most of what I’ll post here will reflect my professional expertise. Inevitably much of it will end up being about managing tuberculosis transmission between badgers and cattle in the UK.
